As many of you may already know the Verizon BlackBerry Storm is a world phone, which means that not only does it run on Verizon’s CDMA network while in the United States, but as well on over 200 GSM networks for voice and 150 networks for data while traveling abroad.

Verizon Wireless customers traveling for business or pleasure in both the U.S. and abroad can use GlobalEmail on their BlackBerry Storms to access corporate e-mail attachments as well as personal or POP3 e-mail accounts. Verizon Wireless’ unlimited GlobalEmail Plan offers one flat-rate data pricing and covers Web browsing, picture messaging and Visual Voice Mail in the U.S. as well as overseas.

GlobalEmail Data Plans will set you back $69.99 a month for a stand-alone data plan or $64.99 a month when added to any voice plan.
